I was in Sante Fe on the way to and from a weekend class at the Ghost Ranch. The innkeeper was very accommodating and helpful - particularly allowing my group to store our luggage both before our room was ready and after we checked out and were waiting for our shuttle to Albuquerque. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.
Lovely space with thoughtful amenities (ice, coffee and tea in the afternoon, cookies at night) and beautiful decor
A couple of things I did not enjoy about the Inn. One, the location is on a very dark street with poor illumination and did not seem to be heavily populated. Second, to get to our room, we had to exit the main structure and walk outside in a fenced in but NOT locked wooden fence along the driveway. I did not feel safe and it was cold. There is only one TV for all guests...not terrible, but after sight seeing all day I would have preferred to stay in my room relaxing. Our room had 1 chair which was in terrible need of re-covering and was stained. The last comment was that the rooms have many fabrics and curtains which cause a lot of dust to accumulate. This is important to me because of allergies. I would not return, nor would I recommend to another person. For the services we received I feel that it is over priced.
Really liked the rooms and that is was quiet and peaceful. Also, the location is great! Great restauratns nearby and withing walking distance to the square and downtown shops/galleries.
Need to get the heater/boiler to not make it's clanking noises at night. I'm a light sleeper and sometimes it would wake me up.
Historical building B&B.
Some loudness from the hallway back door.
